1. inquiry and preliminary talk

You write to us via the Contact form or call us. In the preliminary meeting (15-30 minutes, by phone or on site) we clarify Occasion, scope, location, deadline and budget.

2. offer and briefing

You will receive a clear, transparent quotation within one working day. After order confirmation, we work together to create a Briefing with shot list, style and process - this saves hours on the day of the shoot. Read more in the article Briefing for a photo shoot.

3rd shooting day

We arrive on time, with all the necessary equipment, and work efficiently. We calculate 10-15 minutes of portrait time per person, plus reportage shots. We give small hints, but keep the process relaxed - this results in authentic pictures without any waiting time.

4. selection and post-processing

Within 3-5 working days you will receive a preselection of the best images for approval. We then edit them professionally: exposure, skin tones, background, composing where necessary. Final delivery in 5-10 working days after shooting.

5. delivery and follow-up support

Pictures are sent by Download link from our own server in Römerberg - in all required formats and resolutions. The link is password-protected. The content of the links is not time-limited - they simply expire after a certain period for security reasons. We save your data in parallel for as long as you wish and provide new access at any time on request. We are happy to make recommendations for web optimization. We only use mobile data carriers in special cases (e.g. Erlkönig reports or other particularly sensitive content). In standard cases, we work completely digitally, including digital invoicing by e-mail.

What you do as a client - and where we help

They provide: Tidy up rooms, Gathering people together, a contact person on the day of the shoot and Quick release for image selection. Nothing more.

We take care of: Everything else. Equipment, lighting, logistics, image selection proposal, post-processing, delivery in all formats and resolutions, provision of GDPR templates.

Schedule of a typical day shoot

08:30: Arrival, equipment set-up (light setup, background, camera).

09:00-12:30: First shooting session - mostly employee portraits or management. 10-15 minutes per person.

12:30-13:30: Lunch break, equipment break, short image selection preview.

13:30-17:30: Second shooting session - mostly reportage or workshop shots. We work more flexibly here because reportage images are not as strictly timed as portraits.

17:30-18:00: Equipment dismantling, short final meeting with you, if necessary show first preview pictures on the laptop.

Tip: Appointments in the middle of the week (Tuesday-Thursday) are often more relaxed than Mondays or Fridays.

After the shoot - what you can expect

3-5 working daysYou will receive a preselection via download link from our server in Römerberg with approx. 30-80 images (depending on the order). You select your favorites.

5-10 working daysFinal delivery of the selected images, retouched, in multiple resolutions and formats. Delivery platform: our own server in Römerberg (password-protected download link) or directly to your server (FTP, SFTP). We generally do not use mobile data carriers for the standard workflow - with the exception of security-critical projects such as Erlkönig reports, which we discuss separately.

After delivery: We remain available. If you need an additional format in 3 months, don't retouch it yourself - just write to me and I'll supply it free of charge.

📌 My standard for image rights

At Schepers Photography you get the following as standard full rights of use to all images supplied - unlimited in time, unlimited geographically, for all your own media (website, social media, print, press relations, career, annual report). No extra charge, no small print. An exception only applies if, before the shoot otherwise agreed in writing This happens very rarely.

Also a Copyright attribution is not mandatory. So you don't have to name me as the photographer if it doesn't fit the layout. My experience: If a picture is good, people will ask who took it. You can find more details about my license philosophy at Image rights & rights of use.
