My career

I grew up in the Palatinate and became a self-taught photographer - years of practice, commissioned work and continuous self-training on real industrial and business sets. Today I work with Schepers Photography I have my own studio in Römerberg and work for industry, medium-sized businesses, hotels, the healthcare sector and corporations - regionally in the Palatinate and throughout Germany for DAX clients.

Over the years, I have worked with brands such as BASF, KÜBLER, BMW, Porsche and other DAX companies as well as many medium-sized family businesses - mostly in the Palatinate, but also throughout Germany. I provide all the images from a shoot, but deliberately limit the selection to the essentials - curated rather than overly extensive.

What drives me

I am more interested in people and spaces than in effects. My claim: Images that look real, can be used immediately and will last for years. No show, no clichés, no standard poses - just a clear, honest look at what makes a company what it is.

My focus

I photograph Business photography, Business portraits, Team photos, Industrial photography, Advertising photography or Photo reports. I have also been a regular photographer for family businesses and corporations for years - this saves time for both sides and ensures a consistent visual language.

My family name

By the way: Schepers means „shepherd“ or „shepherd“ in Low German. If you would like to know more about the origin of the surname, you can find out in the article Where does the name Schepers come from? everything about it - including etymology, distribution and known namesakes.

Personal

I live with my family in Römerberg and enjoy cycling. In addition to photography, I am an entrepreneur and managing director of several companies. Active in Association for Free Chambers (BFFK) - an initiative that takes a critical stance against compulsory memberships such as the Chamber of Crafts. On Instagram I regularly share impressions from my work.

What sets me apart from others

I am self-employed - no studio with employed photographers, no franchise. When you book me, it's not an intern or a „junior“ who comes, it's me. This has two consequences: Firstly, you have a direct contact person for the entire duration of the project. Secondly, I cannot offer two appointments at the same time - availability must be clarified in advance.

My style is Calm and very clear and results-oriented. I plan deadlines tightly and deliver within deadlines. I'm not an artist photographer who waits three months for the right moment of light - I'm a professional service provider for companies that need images that work.

What customers often give me as feedback: „Everything is uncomplicated with you.“ I prefer that to any award.

How I work - three principles

1. preparation beats improvisation. A good briefing on the phone is worth more than three hours in the image editing program. I take my time for the preliminary talk.

2. 30 perfect pictures are better than 300 mediocre ones. I curate strictly because I don't want you, the customer, to rummage through a pile of pictures.

3. full rights, no license traps. What you book with me is yours - in full, permanently, without hidden surcharges. More under Image rights & rights of use.

Why the Palatinate?

I was born in the Palatinate and have deep roots there. The Palatinate's medium-sized businesses, the industrial locations around BASF and KÜBLER, the hotel industry and the wine trade - that's my natural customer environment. I know the ways, the mentality and the requirements.

At the same time, I have been working for corporations and medium-sized companies throughout Germany and in neighboring countries for many years. The Palatinate is my base, not my limitation.

📌 My standard for image rights

At Schepers Photography you get the following as standard full rights of use to all images supplied - unlimited in time, unlimited geographically, for all your own media (website, social media, print, press relations, career, annual report). No extra charge, no small print. An exception only applies if, before the shoot otherwise agreed in writing This happens very rarely.

Also a Copyright attribution is not mandatory. So you don't have to name me as the photographer if it doesn't fit the layout. My experience: If a picture is good, people will ask who took it. You can find more details about my license philosophy at Image rights & rights of use.
