NIGHT PORTRAITS
Disappearing with the photographer for two hours immediately after the church - is that really a must for every wedding? Some might think so. The answer is: NO, it's not a must, it's not a necessity. There is so much to experience on your wedding day, so many stories to share and for me as a photographer there are countless moments to discover to show you in the best light.
My philosophy is not to put you in artificial or uncomfortable situations. Rather, I want to capture you as a couple as you really are: authentic and natural. Instead of "kidnapping" you for a longer period of time, I prefer to take you aside briefly at different times. These short moments are often enough to create impressive portraits.
Experience shows that there are often short breaks, especially in the evening or at night, which are perfect for relaxed and stress-free portraits. Great portrait shots are not tied to a specific location or time of day.
Now you might ask: "At night? How is that possible?
Isn't it too dark?" Don't worry!
I will turn night into day for you.

In the tranquil town of Altrip in the Palatinate I had the privilege of getting Alica & Jochen in front of my camera. It was a special night because they were one of the first couples to be inspired by my vision for night portraits.
