The FDP Rhineland-Palatinate drew up its state list for the federal elections in Nackenheim on Saturday. Bianca Hofmann from Speyer was able to secure a prominent place: she was elected to fifth place on the list and thus remains a central representative of the Palatinate within the party. The highest-placed Palatine on the FDP list is Ralf Stüber from Neuburg (Germersheim district) in third place. The Liberals' top candidate is Carina Konrad from Hunsrück.

Hofmann was also nominated again as a direct candidate in the Neustadt/Speyer constituency. At the delegates' meeting in Speyer, the 57-year-old business graduate received clear approval from 22 of the 25 delegates. In her speech, Hofmann emphasized the need for competitive energy prices, a reduction in social security contributions and the strengthening of Germany as a business location. She also emphasized the importance of an effective constitutional state in migration policy and warned against burdening future generations with an unsustainable pension system.
With her position on the state list and her clear economic policy orientation, Bianca Hofmann is one of the defining voices of the FDP from the Palatinate in the upcoming federal elections.
