How a fashion store in a city manages to make men happy every day.

In many cases - not all - men are familiar with this dilemma: you long for a new pair of trousers that fit perfectly and are exactly what you had in mind. Then you often go on an endless search until you finally find something that fits. But things are different at the men's fashion store Modehaus Schmitt in Neustadt. From my personal experience, I can only say with enthusiasm: everything is just right here - and not just once, but usually several times and continuously. So I can say with a clear conscience, PASST!

But let's start from the very beginning: A men's fashion store that opened its doors in 1932 and has been successful for over 90 years. Incidentally, it has existed in the middle of Neustadt since 1959 and must be truly exceptional. My personal history with this fashion store began in my early days as a photographer around 15 years ago.

Markus Schmitt, the dynamic entrepreneur behind the renowned Schmitt fashion store in Neustadt, has been passionately involved as managing director since 1993. This fashion store has a special history dating back to 1959. Back then, when it started out as a pure ready-to-wear store, it soon became too small to accommodate just four employees. In the same year, characterized by growth and transformation, a characteristic nose sign with the name HOSEN Schmitt was unveiled. This name has endured to this day and is firmly anchored in the minds of many Palatinate and Electoral Palatinate residents. 

In 1990, the "Young MAN Shop" saw the light of day and shone with youthful charm. But by 1994, it had already been transformed into the enchanting "Marc S.Trendstore".

Michael has an intuitive feel for images and an unerring eye, which is indispensable for our traditional business. He also contributes creative ideas beyond photography, which help us to progress enormously and provide valuable impetus.

It takes both a brave heart and technical finesse to stage the latest fashion trends in an abandoned 18th century house that has been deserted since the 1980s. But when we spontaneously discovered this house during the shoot and had Michael, Mr. Schepers, at our side, this proved to be no obstacle at all. His trained eye for light and shadow helped us to create stunning images that presented the fashion in a truly unique context.

Our productive collaboration began in 2011, heralded by Ms. Ira Schreck from Chilli Magazin in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Countless joint projects, including magazines, advertising brochures and innovative social media campaigns, which we designed together and photographed with care, laid the foundation for an efficient working relationship. But beyond that, a deep entrepreneurial connection also developed, characterized by similar values and shared visions. 

Outstanding projects that we were able to create together were undoubtedly the exciting freerunner project in the MarcS Trendstore and in extensive areas of Neustadt. Added to this is a ground-breaking drone image with almost 400 megapixels, which we were able to produce back in 2014 and display on a large scale in the fashion stores. These creative ventures are testament to our innovative spirit and our ability to turn visions into reality.

It is truly gratifying to see how a fashion business can establish itself in the market with such innovative strength and consistency and continue to write a success story in which I have the privilege of playing a part.
