Here we answer the questions we receive most frequently from customers and interested parties - briefly, honestly and without detours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Where do you work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The focus is on Palatinate and the Rhine-Neckar region<\/strong>. We make appointments in Speyer, Schifferstadt, Ludwigshafen, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe and Walldorf almost every day. Trips to Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Saarbr\u00fccken or Cologne are also possible without any problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How quickly can you make an appointment?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a rule within 1-3 weeks<\/strong>. For urgent requests (press release, pitch, short-term appearance) we often find an appointment within 2-5 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you handle inquiries and offers?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We only do individual offers<\/strong> - Every request is different, and all-inclusive packages or price lists would not do justice to this. A short Request<\/a> with the occasion, scope and intended use is enough for us to send you a clear offer within one working day. Who owns the copyright?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The copyright remains with the photographer, you receive Simple, unlimited rights of use for your own media<\/strong> as standard. Find out more at Image rights & rights of use<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will you come to us or will we meet in the studio?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Both are possible. For authentic images, we are happy to come to you on location. For classic headshots or product photography, our studio in R\u00f6merberg is often the more efficient choice. More in Studio vs. on-location<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you also supply RAW files?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Usually no - we deliver retouched JPG\/TIFF final images<\/strong>. We only release RAW data in special cases, because they look unfinished without editing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about GDPR and employee consent?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We work in compliance with the GDPR and provide standard templates for employee consents. Find out more at Prepare employee photos<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I send you an order?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The easiest way is via the Contact form<\/a>. Write to me briefly: What, when, where, how many people, what purpose<\/strong>. I will reply within one working day with initial suggestions and an offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively by phone - the number is on the contact page. I often answer initial questions directly over the phone and can outline the job in 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I need a contract?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With small orders<\/strong> (half-day shoot, individual appointments) my written order confirmation is sufficient. You then have all the necessary rights and can work safely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

With larger projects<\/strong> (multi-day shoots, group orders, order processing obligations) we make a formal contract with license, GDPR and compliance clauses. I have a template that can be adapted to your requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if I am not satisfied with the pictures?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I always deliver a Preselection for release<\/strong>, before I do any post-processing. You see the images before the final delivery and can say if something doesn't fit. In this case, we will make a correction - either by selecting different images or by retouching them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the more than 15 years that I have been self-employed, it has only happened once that an order had to be completely redone. That wasn't a dispute at the time, but an honest insight - and the customer was satisfied afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I get a quantity discount for multiple orders?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For returning regular customers, we are happy to discuss Annual framework agreements<\/strong>. Several planned dates spread over the year can be arranged more favorably than individually booked shootings - we will clarify the conditions individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For very large individual orders (corporate multi-day shoots, multi-location reportages) we negotiate individually. Write to me, I calculate fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you also do video?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I am a photographer by profession, not a videographer. Short behind-the-scenes clips or simple statement videos<\/strong> I'm happy to help out with this - for elaborate image films or commercials I recommend colleagues from my network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need photo and video in parallel, I can coordinate that. We come with two people who work in coordination - one team instead of two worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your response times?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inquiries by mail or form:<\/strong> Reply within 1 working day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Telephone inquiries:<\/strong> If I don't answer the phone, I'll call you back the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Image delivery:<\/strong> Pre-selection in 3-5 working days, final delivery in 5-10 working days after the shoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequent requests<\/strong> (additional format, new crop, further retouching): usually completed within 1-3 working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccc My standard for image rights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At Schepers Photography you get the following as standard full rights of use<\/strong> to all images supplied - unlimited in time, unlimited geographically, for all your own media (website, social media, print, press relations, career, annual report). No extra charge, no small print. An exception only applies if, before the shoot otherwise agreed in writing<\/em> This happens very rarely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also a Copyright attribution is not mandatory<\/strong>. So you don't have to name me as the photographer if it doesn't fit the layout.
